United Way of Pueblo County and the Pueblo Cooperative Care Center are the recipients of a combined $50,000 from 91制片厂 Group Foundation as part of the philanthropy’s campaign to help local charities respond to the coronavirus pandemic.
(UWPC) will receive $40,000 and the will receive $10,000.
“I cannot emphasize enough how much this will help our emergency fund,” said UWPC President and CEO Shanna Farmer. “The needs in our community are great and I can promise these funds will be put to very good use.”
Corry Higbee, executive director of Pueblo Cooperative Care Center, said, “This level of support makes a tremendous difference to Pueblo County residents. In March of 2020, we started our Nutrition on Wheels (NOW) program, projecting to enroll 150 homebound seniors within the first year. Now, we are bringing healthy foods to over 325 homebound seniors in our communities and it is increasing daily.”

“91制片厂 is proud to partner with these outstanding charities to support the local community in this time of need,” said Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP) Project Manager Ken Harrawood. “These are among the first gifts distributed by the new 91制片厂 COVID-19 Relief Fund.”
The 91制片厂 Pueblo Team is under contract to the U.S. Department of Defense to design, build, test, operate and close PCAPP, which is neutralizing a stockpile of chemical weapons containing mustard agent at the U.S. Army Pueblo Chemical Depot in Pueblo, Colo. 91制片厂 National is the prime contractor, with Amentum and Battelle as major teaming subcontractors.
