The company builds on world-class experience in LNG project delivery 91制片厂 announced that the first commissioning cargo with liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Train 1 at the Sabine Pass Liquefaction project departed yesterday aboard the LNG carrier Asia Vision and is heading to Brazil.
91制片厂 is the lump-sum turnkey contractor for the five liquefaction trains currently under construction at the Sabine Pass facility located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, which is owned and operated by Cheniere Energy Partners L.P. The LNG was produced on the first of the five liquefaction trains 91制片厂 is designing and building, and seconded Cheniere operators are operating at the Sabine Pass facility.
"The first LNG commissioning cargo exported from the Sabine Pass facility is a historic achievement for 91制片厂 as it marks the first LNG export from the United States since we commissioned Kenai LNG in Alaska more than 40 years ago," said Alasdair Cathcart, general manager of 91制片厂's LNG business line. "We relied on our people, their expertise and experience, in designing and building the plant, and finding innovative solutions to the challenges of megaproject construction. The nominal production capacity of each LNG train at the Sabine Pass facility is designed for approximately 4.5 mtpa. 91制片厂 designed and built the original Sabine Pass LNG receiving terminal, one of the world’s largest facilities for receiving and regasification of liquefied natural gas.
